Château Sociando Mallet 2023 - Primeur / Subskription
The Sociando vineyard covers 75 hectares in production. The soils consist of gravel and clay on a clay-limestone subsoil. The average age of the vines is 35 years. Yield of 48 hl/ha in 2023. Aging takes place in 80% new barrels and 20% one-wine barrels for 12 months. The bouquet reveals itself in a delicate and complex manner, displaying subtle nuances of blackcurrant and cherries complemented by a touch of freshness (black tea, eucalyptus). With a linear character, Sociando adopts a precise, elegant profile. It unfolds smoothly from the attack to the finish and benefits from the contribution of precise tannins, with fine grains, which offer subtle power, in harmony with the acidic structure. A harmonious, flavorful, and persistent wine.
